In mid-December 2021, the active implementation of the oil refining complex began: the first bulk purchases of rolled metal products and equipment, building materials were made. It should be noted that when choosing contractors, preference was given to state and private companies of our country. But a certain volume of materials was purchased in Europe, and supplied by the leading supplier of European raw materials to the territory of the Customs Union, which offered the most favorable logistics and price conditions. The need for European raw materials arose due to some key characteristics of the procurement material, which are important for the purification, processing and transportation of natural gas.
In general, less was spent on the first purchases than was budgeted, the remaining budget will go to the further construction of the complex and the social activities of the Kuva Oil Refinery.
